If you have 40 minutes to spend  then you can prepare a simple and tasty dessert, in order to make this dessert you are going to need the next ingredients: 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 Bosc pears and a half of a cup of heavy whipped cream.

The first thing you have to do is to preheat your oven to 190 degrees C, while waiting for the oven cut the pears in halves and core them. Before you bake the pear halves you will have to divide the butter and sugar, use one half of the butter to grease up a 9-inch baking dish.

After the baking dish is greased up sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar over it, and prepare the pear halves by rubbing the rest of the butter over them. When you are done with the pear halves put them in the baking dish, the cut side should be down, and sprinkle the remaining sugar over them, and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes pour the cream over the pear halves, and continue baking for 20 minutes.
