Emmy-awarded actor, producer, and director Neil Patrick Harris is teaming up with LG Electronics USA to help promote the LG Art of The Pixel. The nation’s top artists will be picked out of nine prestigious art schools: California Institute of the Arts, Laguna College of Art and Design, Maryland Institute College of Art, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Parsons the New School for Design, Pratt Institute, Rhode Island School of Design, San Francisco Art Institute, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Each institution will receive LG TVs for galleries and studios.
As an ambassador and artistic advisor, Harris will lend encouragement and advice to students and LG for the summer. He is an ardent art collector and shows up to art shows and other related events. “Neil Patrick Harris’ passion and dedication to the arts makes him the perfect advisor for
The Art of The Pixel,” said William Cho, President of LG Electronics USA. “We value his expertise as a collector and patron of the arts and appreciate his role in advising the schools and students creating next-gen art using LG screens as a digital canvas.” Students can send in their digital artwork by July 13 and find details at www.lgusa.com and learn about the campaign and challenge. Support the arts with LG Electronics USA.
